Curriculum Overview

Hours

  • The radiography program is offered at the Bridgeview campus only.
  • The curriculum requires two years of full-time study over seven consecutive terms.
  • Attendance of classroom, laboratory, and clinical courses will not exceed forty weekly hours.
  • Radiography specific courses are held at the Bridgeview campus during the day and operating evening hours. The times and locations of general education courses may vary.
  • Clinical assignments are Monday through Fridays at hospitals, medical centers, and clinics. Second year assignments may include a limited number of weekend, evening, and night rotations.
  • Most assignments are between 7:00 am. and 4:30 pm. Some assignments may start as early as 6:00 am. Other clinical assignments may start later and end at 8:00 pm.
  • Students do not attend classes during scheduled breaks between quarters or on days when the College is officially closed.

College Term Preceding Start of Program
Must document active certification in CPR for the healthcare provider endorsed by the American Heart Association before the start of the program.
