Paralegal Certificate

General Requirements

Admission to the Paralegal Certificate program requires candidates to have earned an Associate in Applied Science Degree which includes general education courses equivalent to those required in Northwestern College's Associate in Applied Science in Paralegal program, or an associate in arts degree or a bachelor's degree or higher. Entering students are also required to interview with an admissions representative and complete the NC placement test as part of the admissions process.

Course Offerings and Certificate Requirements

Certificate programs do not require students to complete general education coursework and are most appropriate for individuals who wish to gain career skills in as short a time as possible without earning a degree. In order to obtain a paralegal certificate, students must complete the courses below for a total of 33 credit hours.
