What You Can Learn

Upon completion of the paralegal certificate program students will be able to:

  • Understand and exhibit the expected ethical behavior.
  • Independently research legal issues and prepare various forms of legal writing and documents.
  • Exhibit judgment, comprehension, and analytical ability in categorizing legal data and researching issues.
  • Demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Exhibit computer proficiency.
  • Perform, through an externship, paralegal skills necessary to work competently in a legal environment.
