Out of all the things that I’ve done in my life, going to school for the paralegal program rates among the top. I feel that I finally have some direction in my life and I am very happy with my education here.

Life while I was in school was rough because as a single parent I was trying to balance a full-time job while going to school part-time in the evening. There were times when I was so overwhelmed I just wanted to quit, give up, and walk away! However, I stuck to it and pushed myself because I wasn't going to let anything stand in my way of getting my degree and setting an example for my son. I am grateful for the support system I had behind me- not only my family and friends, but the teachers and staff at Northwestern College who helped me along the way. Without them, I would not have made it to this point and for them I am so grateful!

I was the first person in my family to ever graduate from college and they are so proud of me. I'm glad I chose Northwestern College because they taught me a lot about hard work and what it takes to be successful.

The thing I like most about Northwestern College is that a lot of my classes are more focused on my major so I don’t have to take a lot of classes that don’t apply.

When I heard about Northwestern College from a friend, I didn’t do any second or third thinking about it. I just applied, got my student loans, and got with the plan.

The size of the classrooms and the campus is what attracted me to Northwestern College and the greatest benefit would definitely be the one-on-one student/teacher relationships.

Northwestern College has great instructors. They make classes so much fun that I actually wake up in the morning excited to go to school.

It takes courage to open your mind, to study, to learn, and to create ideas of your own. My favorite thing about Northwestern College is that they encourage you to have ideas of your own as part of your learning experience. They pull out your creativity, they heighten your teamwork skills, and they remain open to hearing how you feel.

My training at Northwestern College has been very thorough. The teachers help a lot to make sure each student understands the material. They will sit down and go over it again and again until they know you’ve got it.

I chose Northwestern College because I wanted a smaller environment, and I am also very close with my family so I wanted to stay close to home. Going to Northwestern College is just like being part of another big family. I have classes with a lot of the same people and it’s a great support system. There is always someone to study with.

I’m a parent and I work full-time, so Northwestern College is flexible and works with my schedule, which I love. They also offer online courses allowing me to work from home so I can still spend time with my family and do other things that I need to.

The instructors at Northwestern College are amazing. Whenever I need help, they are always there for me. It’s something I never had elsewhere in my education.
